Fortscale and RSA Are Joining Forces – Acquisition Announcement

April 05, 2018 by Idan Tendler

RSA-1I’m excited to announce we have reached an agreement with RSA® to acquire Fortscale. Our groundbreaking user and entity behavioral analytics (UEBA) technology will become part of one of the most growing and leading SIEM Platforms, RSA NetWitness®, to deliver the most comprehensive UEBA solution on the market.

From day one, we have wanted to change the cybersecurity paradigm and make behavioral analytics available to all. This move will help us reach that goal, as RSA is integrating our analytics to their rapidly expanding SIEM platform. RSA acquisition of Fortscale will provide customers embedded UEBA capabilities integrated with the Platform. RSA NetWitness UEBA directly addresses and overcomes obstacles that standalone solutions have encountered due to their high cost and high touch requirements. RSA NetWitness UEBA requires minimal customization and no manual tuning. It is designed to detect unknown threats and to address malicious behavior in which exploits have received elevated permissions.

While the acquisition will propel our award-winning technology to new heights, it does represent the end of the road for Fortscale, as an independent entity. As such, I would like to take this moment and thank you – our customers and partners. On behalf of me and the extended Fortscale team, we are so grateful for all your encouragement and support through the years. You helped us, a scrappy independent start up, realize our dreams and create something special that improved the alert accuracy, threat intelligence and overall security of solutions and companies everywhere. So, thank you. You can read about the acquisition in the press release.
